Announcing online learning service, beta version

If you would like to learn fast and remember forever, then you have come to the best site in the world. There are millions of current and past users of SuperMemo. You might be one of them. There have been dozens of SuperMemo applications and services. Now we want to reveal a new one (still at beta stage). Perhaps the most exciting yet!

Three decades ago, in the 1980s, SuperMemo pioneered computer applications for effective learning. It was the first ever application which could compute optimum intervals of time that should separate reviews of knowledge. We used the term "spaced repetition" to describe our technology. Today, spaced repetition is used in thousands of educational tools globally. In the meantime, SuperMemo keeps perfecting its algorithms, tools, techniques and strategies for best results in learning.

For a start, we are offering you some of our most popular ready language courses, from simple vocabulary sets in the Extreme series to the most recent, multiple award-winning Olive Green course of English, a gigantic production based on a full feature interactive action film. Step by step, we are going to add more SuperMemo courses and develop the service. Soon, you will be able to create and share your own content with others. You will also be able to learn offline with our seamlessly synching apps. Planning and statistics will be improved to give you a better feel and sense of control over your development. Further, we are going to implement motivational tools. Importantly, shall premiere new versions of the SuperMemo algorithm based on the ongoing research, including areas such as sleep or incremental reading. We shall work on tools for importing learning content and process from other SuperMemo platforms, so that becomes a learning and social hub for all fans of SuperMemo.

In this blog, we are going to discuss new, exciting features and announce upcoming developments.

So keep your fingers crossed and bear with us. Learn fast and forget about forgetting! ;-)
