As autumn comes this time of year in the northern hemisphere, days become shorter and the weather is gloomy.

At SuperMemo, though, our mood is anything but gloomy. Far from it! We are happy and excited to have received news from the Reimagine Education Conference in Philadelphia, US, about our two projects being nominated for the Wharton-QS Stars Reimagine Education Awards 2015.

It is the SuperMemo.com online learning service and the “Olive Green” film-based English course, available at SuperMemo.com and as an independent website and apps, that have been rewarded with nominations. SuperMemo.com has been shortlisted in the ICT Tools for Learning and Teaching Award category for the most innovative pedagogical approach to learning through an ICT tool, whereas “Olive Green” is a finalist in the E-learning Innovation category for the most innovative online pedagogy resulting in enhanced student learning outcome.

The results for this competition will be announced on December 8, 2015, at a gala during the Reimagine Education Conference in Philadelphia. We are honoured to be among the nominees selected by an international panel of 40 distinguished judges and look forward to meeting other shortlisted candidates to be able to discuss various approaches to innovation in education from around the globe.
