Yes! SuperMemo allows you to study offline in the mobile apps for iOS and Android – a perfect solution when you don’t have internet access, such as while traveling, flying, or in areas with no signal.
How to use a course offline:
To access a course offline, follow these steps:
- Open the SuperMemo app on your mobile device while you are connected to the internet.
- Go to the "My learning" tab.
- Tap the three-dot icon next to the course you want to download.
- Select the "Download the course" option.
Once the download is complete, the course will be available offline. You can then study without an internet connection. Remember to tap the “Update” button before and after offline learning to sync your progress.
What should you know?
- In offline mode, not all app features are available – for example, AI features, adding MemoCards, course search, recordings, statistics, or course editor. However, you can still use notes, and navigate through the course contents.
- Offline courses take up space on your device’s memory – you can delete them at any time. Just remember to sync your progress before removing a course from your device.
